Lol that's crazy. Saw your post seems your not having a great time either? Well don't give up. My beep is a regular kinda quiet beep comes from the engine bay.

Might want to check your battery, shortly after i picked up my 2009, had 2 problems at once.....long story short, fuel starve and then trying to start the car multiple times after letting gas get back to the fuel pump killed the battery....turns out the battery was the original from nissan and was completely dead, luckily got a jump from someone and she fired right back up...needless to say i replaced the battery the very next day

We tried a jump. My battery has plenty of spark it seems.plus headlights and dome lights are fine. Just nothing else.

Just curious, did you try disconnecting the negative on the battery and letting it sit for a few to reset everything and then reconnecting it?

Well it looks like you eliminated most of the easy problems and it's starting to seem like it could be more complicated.
What it isn't:
Steering Wheel Lock module
Dead or low battery in car or fob

Symptoms:
Can't get into accessory mode or any other.
Lights work

With those eliminated my guess would be the vehicle immobilizer system.
While the steering wheel lock may be disabled there maybe other components to the security system that are preventing it from going into ignition/start mode. Are any of the security lights on?

No other symptoms really, Umm I like what your saying tho. Something I find weird is that it is Beeping Twice ever few seconds. And that I believe is part of the security system. I only noticed the beeps (When running properly) After I would get out of the car while it was started, close the doors, and walk away (Might have locked the doors too) And then it would beep as if to tell me "Hey Im started man but locked"

It's like the car thinks it's turned on or something but isnt.

I know the yellow Key Icon flashes inside sometimes, And the red Key Icon (Security light?) flashes too sometimes. Also When I press start it only says LOCK.

The links didn't offer too much - Maybe my fob needs reset? Idk. Lol.

I will be checking the cabin fuses today. As of right now my car is stuck in my works parking lot so I don't have much option to do a lot until I get it moved home. Really hoping it's something dumb like the "Push Start" fuse.

Anyone have any Fuse issues or problems before with similar symptoms??

Something is still kinda making me think steering lock failure while it's unlocked... maybe But there is still those other kinda strange issues, not sure whats normal. I will take a video and upload it tonight of all the things I can notice and post it for you guys.

You have a steering lock problem, just like SouthArk said. If the rubber mallet solution doesn't fix it, then you are looking at about a $1200 repair from Nissan. Once you get the car started, pull the fuse and cut the brown wire under the dash. Check the DIYs to make sure you get the right wire.

Given that everything was fine this morning, it's highly unlikely that it's a starter. The battery 'could' give you an issue, if it is more than 2 years old, replace it. Most of the 'old-timers' know this, but some of the 'newbies' might not, a battery that will not start the car, will have enough juice to light lights. Just because lights turn on, doesn't mean the battery is good. Hence the "Replace battery every two years regardless of warranty"...

Thanks Ghost, yeah im leaning twords Steering lock again now. Hit the thing with my feet...hit it with a hammer, Both no results tho.

I checked the cabin fuses, Electrical, and start button. They look good. Pretty sure none of the other ones mattered.

I made a video, ill post it when I get home.

Also Isnt the Lock covered under a Recall now?

No need to do both - either one will do the job. I prefer to pull the fuse but YMMV.

IIRC, all 2009s are covered under the TSB but not all 2010s are covered. In any case, dealer will check VIN to see if you qualify.
