Which aftermarket part should I get first?
I'm thinking about getting either wheels or a exhaust, which one should I get first and what model/brand?
|
a new brain.
wait no they don't do aftermarket brains... |
if by wheels you mean rims then do you prefer visual aesthetics over sound? or are you looking at tires as well? different size from stock?
what is your goal? what are you planning on doing to your car? what is your budget? and at the end of the day its what YOU like. someone may like the nismo exhaust, others maybe the FI. or maybe ark. who knows. tires? i'll tell you straight. re-11. |
Yes i agree re-11 for the tiers, and yes i also agree new brain, cuz u need to figure out what ur doing with tye car, show car, just streed dd, RACECAR build, or just w/e throw parts at it.
|
I would get wheels first. The car might run without an exhaust, but you're not going anywhere without some wheels :twocents:
|
The car is PERFECT stock, don't change a thing. LOL
Lets get some pics of said car and see what it needs, if it's sh1t brown i'd say paint it first... |

Its currently stock 370z black, with the sports package. I also should've clarified tires/rims. Rims is what I mean't though.
|
Stock cars SUCK!!!!
And you should always lower you car as your first mod especially if you plan to get aftermarket wheels. |

You still haven't said anything about your use of the car :ugh2:
Daily driver? Show car? Track beast? Get an exhaust. Fast Intentions. The Sport package Rays are phenomenal wheels. Most every other wheel you'll see people using on the Z is a downgrade in weight, strength, or both. Except the Nismo wheels. There are a few, but you'll have to pay to play. |
Its a DD.

Any recommendations for a exhaust?

OP, how deep are your pockets? The jokers on here will spend every last dollar you have and your first born. :icon17: You said DD for the Z. What about the future plans. You going to keep it as a DD, or you might want more?
|
LSX Swap should be first to-do
|
Probably will be my DD for atleast a couple more years. Not sure exactly how long.

my sig applies..
|
Before you go spending thousands of dollars on stuff, figure out what your goals or priorities are. If you ever want to go forced induction, you might regret getting breathing mods before then. I would keep the car stock for a while to figure out what to change--it should be obvious after a few months of ownership.
I think first thing to get is an oil cooler. |
Get Weathertech floor mats first.
|
Yep, oil cooler and weathertech digital fit for sure.
