Yes, I've seen that too
The SUVs and all the rest. I'm a teacher and actually had students, who drive lifted pick ups, tell me they purposely tailgate small foreign cars and they especially hate sports cars..because they aren't American. I didn't pay much attention to this until it started happening to me. There was a guy, I have no idea who he was, who drove a giant Dodge with a lift kit. The Dodge was painted white and had a massive brush bar on the front. He had his own sign made up for the front across the grill: "Big White Yuppie Car Crusher." Again, I thought it was funny until some of these folks ended up behind me. Please don't misunderstand, I'm not trying to brand everyone with a truck as this or that. As a hiker, I'd like to have one myself. But this guy, and the one last month, came screaming up at an excessive speed as if to ram me. As far as I'm concerned, that is the same as shoving me in to a wall. Who does that but some kind of idiot bully? I've decided to engage countermeasures if it happens again. I'm a peaceful person with no desire to bother anyone and have very little conflict in my life so I don't get these people.

It doesn't happen too often here in Alberta, but the odd time it does I down shift and slow right down quickly. They normally back off after almost hitting me or the ditch.

None of Us!
should let these small minded, egotistical people ( with small penisis, hence the need for ego boosting) bring us down to there level. And NO guns. Guns do strange things to people's minds. They start wanting to use them...end up in prison or worse.
Keep on the Sunny Side. |

I just hardwired mine in this weekend I have a second one for my wife's car, but I'm seriously considering wiring it in as a rear facing camera. For $60 apiece, I've been exceptionally pleased with them, and I'll just get another one for her car.

definitely put one facing the rear. and just put 'camera car' or 'by driving behind me, u agree to have footage uploaded on youtube' in fine print somewhere on the rear glass.

There's no law prohibiting video recording. And Texas is a one party state, so I don't have to inform anyone else that I'm recording audio as long as I'm party to the conversation.

This stuff doesn't only happens to small sports cars. You should see the sh!t I see when I'm driving my 41' motorhome towing my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I'm close to 41,000 lbs combined. Nothing like having someone come up along side you, then jump in front so that they can be first at the stop light. I've come close to pushing a few through the light. Or being in the right lane and having someone merge from an on-ramp into the side of me. Almost hitting me. You ought to see the looks I get when I hit the air horns.

Some asshat in a black Charger tailgated me the other day. I was like "jeez buddy, there's no need to be on my bumper when I'm already going 40 in a school zone. And those aftermarket lights on top of your car just look stupid."
