2013 Base + sport options
 

Looking to buy a base + sport (most likely a 2013) and I'm trying to see if there are any particular options I should look for. So far, all I can see is a backup camera.

Anything else I should be looking for? Do they not offer Bluetooth?

The touring option with navi offers back up camera and BT.

Is it not available on the base?

Don't think so.

Back up camera and Bluetooth are features included in the tech package. If you want the sports package and the tech package included in the same car, it can be done (Sports Tech version). But it's expensive, and may be hard to find in a used Z. Good luck, man.

Got it. So a base will have essentially no options available unless you are fortunate enough to find the pink unicorn of a sports tech version?

13 - 14 - Base may only have the Sport package :( however, there may be a Nissan accessory added (IN-MIRROR REARVIEW MONITOR WITH HOMELINK® AND DIGITAL COMPASS)

the rest of the accessories are insignificant, IMO.

13 - 14 Touring may have Sport package and/or Technology package (NAV + rear view camera).

13 - 14 - Base vs Touring - suede and leather heated and 4 way auto seats + Bose audio + Bluetooth (Touring).

I'd like to upgrade the radio and add a spoiler. The radio in the car is one of the worst I've heard in years. Each to his own though

here's what you do... turn it off and rev to 5k rpm :tup:

You'd need an FI exhaust for that .

I believe it's the speakers more so than the radio. Easy upgrade too.

:iagree:The previous owner of mine did that and it sounds very good.

I'm guessing base is the same but the Sports package only has 4 speakers. No rear speakers.

Does the Z even have rear speakers? I've never really looked. Not sure if you would even need them. Not much of a "back" in the Z anyway. :icon14:

I haven't really dug into it yet, but appears that my base 2015 has speakers only in the doors. The speaker covers on the dash, nothing comes out of them and no speakers in the rear. This is not a deal breaker. I'd buy this car over in a heart beat even if it didn't have a radio. All of that can be dealt with later...get the car.
