I've worked for UPS, Fed Ex Home Delivery and now work for FedEx Express-I usually shake my head when I see rims coming down the belts. I personally would never order anything that can be easily damaged like TV's or rims but I know how the stuff gets treated. This year I saw 4 rims come down not even inside a box, the shipper just attached a label via zip tie and sent them on their way. At some point in time your shipment will be stacked either in a container or in a semi truck, sometimes those rims get placed at the top and when the truck moves or gets unloaded your rims slam to the ground. Then they have to be placed on a long conveyor belt and at this time of the year that conveyor belt is packed. Nothing gets treated special. Those rims should have been wrapped in bubble wrap and when it was placed in the box it should have been tight fitting so nothing moves around. AFIC, if those rims were just placed in a box and shipped that is 100% the shippers fault.

So after opening a claim with Paypal, I all of a sudden have communication with the FB Nissan, and they said they would ship me a wheel once I close the claim........Yeah, I'll be leaving it open till I get a new wheel undamaged and if they don't reply to Paypal by the 21st I'll be refunded according to the people over at PayPal. I just want a set of four wheels lol! One day!

Great stuff. Do NOT close the claim until you have written confirmation on their letterhead or e-mail that a replacement will be sent. I hope you get that new replacement wheel asap.

I remember reading somewhere else on here (the SCAM thread, maybe?) of someone who opened a claim, and the seller immediately "promised" to send the goods. The person trusted them and closed the claim, only to find out that the "scammer" never sent the stuff. Turns out that the buyer was SOL, as once a Paypal claim is closed, it cannot be reopened!

WELL...I got my wheel. It's like 98% perfect, I suppose it's the best I'm going to get. Small ding on the very outside lip but I think the tire mounted will cover it up. It's minor enough I'll live with it. I'm ust happy I have a near perfect (LOL) set of Nismo wheels. Should look great with my 40th paint! Thanks for all the tips and support guys, really appreciate it. Merry Christmas and Happy HolidayZ!
