My right hip is killing me
And I can't figure out why. Then this evening I realize, it's the drivers seat in my Z. The power seat switches are surrounded by a sharp edged box which is embedded in the right cushion, right where my hip meets the seat. Anybody else got a sore right hip? I know, my *** is too big, lol. I'm going to need to add some padding in the seat. Geez. Am I the only one??

Some one else complained months ago about their legs going numb , because of the seats.

i feel nothing

NO complain here. But i'm skinny. 5'8" 158 lbs

I'm 5-7 180, so not skinny but not super heavy either, mostly muscle lol. I had an 05 350z and no problems. Maybe my hip hurts for a different reason. But it hurts right where the power switch is on the seat, could be just a coincedence. I was just wondering if it was happening to other z owners.

I'm 5'11" 180lbs. Seats are great...just the right level of snuggness and comfort. As a doc and a Z owner, I think you should look for other reasons for your hip pain. Plenty of padding around the control buttons.

I'am 5 11",220 and no problem at all with the seats so sounds like a weak claim to me!

I'm having trouble understanding how the switches would even rub up against your hip. The seat switches on my car are up towards the right front. They line up next to my right thigh, a little behind the knee. They're nowhere near my hip. I have the leather Touring seats, fyi.

The only thing I get is that my knee rubs against the center console - and my fat*** fits just fine at 6'0" and 295lbs.

At least the fatter 370Z owners are lucky in some respect. They have a nice additional mod available that can improve performance...weight loss! I know...terrible, but true.

I am a big guy, and took my seat completely apart to make it more comfortable. I cut out a bar on each side, made a little improvement, and then I bent the metal sides (were vertical) and are now bent out, so it made a huge difference. Took only a few hours and a Saturday afternoon, using normal tools - very easy.

I've had no problems with the seat though. |
