Sorry to hear this. Ice no matter what kind i.e. black ice, regular ice, slurpy ice, is a pain in the ***. Sorry for your Z loss bud. Salvage anything you could and cash it out if you can.

Will your insurance cover it? Sorry to hear the sad news - at least you are not seriously injured! May be a new beginning for another dream car, too. Just trying to bring a positive perspective.

Condolences. Almost the same thing happened to me with a Z32 many years ago. It had a happy ending though because the insurance paid off nicely and I was able to by a Z32-TT which I still have and love. Hope yours turns out as well and at least know you're in the company of people that feel your pain.

$haq, sorry for the loss of the Z. However, look at the bright side, you are alive and well and no one else was injured. At the end of the day we pay large premiums to the insurance mafia to cover our losses. Be well.

sorry for the news
I "lost" my Z another way. After I calmed down, I focused my energies on getting another one. It was hard, took eight months, but I'm happy with the replacement Z. I still miss my first one, always will, but I believe you will find another dream car

OP, if this is the saddest day of your life, you are very lucky indeed. Count your blessings and carry on! Sorry to hear about your car, but that is just a major inconvenience in the grander scheme of things. |

Yeah, I'm with Fuzzzy. If this is the saddest day of your life you're doing just fine. It sucks about your Z, but the important thing is you're OK. Your Z can be replaced... easily. It's not a Ferrari Enzo or anything.
Here's my car total story, it may cheer you up. Goodbye Mustang, hello Nismo
