Prominent 370Z Issues?
Hey guys, just wondering what are the issues plaguing these cars if any? I've noticed two stickies regarding steering lock and oil temperatures. Are there anything else I should be concerned with in general? Perhaps with models with certain features, like the auto transmission? Thanks for any help, also if there's already a thread with this mods delete and link me

Steering lock, some oil consumption issues on the early models, lack of oil cooler. Those are the big three
Edit: CSC failures on the 6MT cars

Nothing major, csc, oil temp (if your tracking never gone into limp mode around town), fuel starvation on hard G's below half tank (there is an upgrade for this.), Shitty rear visibility, you develop chronic speeding habits, loud cabin noise, no trunk space, no practicality, blinkers arent loud enough causing you to drive with them on all the time, most z drivers wont wave back at you if you wave at them, too much fun, attracts boy racers, entices people to rev at you at stop lights, a little tough to drive in the rain, body roll needs to be corrected with front sway, and last but not least but I think this is important its just "a little v6".
Edit: Tl;dr auto tranny is bullet proof it will need a tranny cooler if you want to SC or FI. Last edited by Exhaust; 11-11-2015 at 07:04 PM. |

If you have a little weiner a Z won't cut it; you're going to need a bitchin' Camaro and a mullet.

Csc is really about the only one you should pay attention too, car is overly built in every aspect but its weak oem csc; an oil cooler if you track but thats going to go on any car you buy for the track

I did a search by thread title by all sub sections and no results. ***Never mind*** just found it at the top of General. I was planning for an auto anyway. -Alex Last edited by D. Toretto; 11-12-2015 at 02:25 AM. |

If by "bulletproof" you mean "will grenade over 400 ft/lbs", then yes.
