I know what you mean. No place to have fun here in the city, except Lower Wacker and they are serious about putting speed bumps down there to slow drivers down. Luckily her family lives out in the sticks where there are lots of great driving roads. I still don't like soft tops though. Freaks me out on the expressway with the top down and Semi truck wheels at head level, about 2 feet away.

Personally,I'm not a fan of the 370 roadster or,the 350 roadster.
Main reason is they look bad. The rear sections of the top do not flow into the design of the car. The 350 is worse. The 370 improved a bit,but not much. Some designs just don't convert to a drop top. The Z is one. In addition, the OEM top material on the Z is not great. If you plan on keeping the car for awhile, you will be faced with possible problems that occur with converts. Motors, hinges, seals etc. As a car guy, I believe that EVERYONE should own a convert/roadster etc. once in their life. I've had 6. I do prefer more of a classic car for the open air experience. A Brit or a Italian car. More creature friendly,a Miata. Look for a coupe with a Z. |
