It's roomier, more comfortable, has a better interior, can fit 2x as many people, and is WAY faster in a straight line. Mustangs win in aftermarket mods, too... by a lot. The only reason I ended up with a Z was because of how sexy it is and the fact that I don't have kids. It's also nice to not see 20 others on my way to work. I have no regrets choosing a Z.

The Camaro SS I drove was a turd, however. It had the cornering capacity of a brick and the weight to match. They're also extremely ugly (IMO) and come with a standard crap GM interior. No thanks.
They are ugly (still). I don't hate the way the new iteration of the Mustang looks. The Z still looks far better than both, in my opinion (I guess that's what all looks are though).

Not to sound like a Camaro fanboy (I swear I'm not!), but I do have to give credit where it's due: 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS First Test - Motor Trend

There's nothing turd about that car, well, except the way it looks :P And it certainly doesn't handle like a brick. Granted, you drove the last model of it.

Sorry but I should been more concise, I am not comparing the Z to every V6 only to ones comparable in price or cheaper from factory.

And the Ecoboost 4 in the Mustang is not a V4. The last V4 i can think of was in an early 70s Saab Sonnet.

4 cylinders in v, in line, boxer, concaved, pi'd or whatever set up. they only belong in hot hatches.

unless you're the CLA AMG engine. then you're allowed into a sports compact.

I know I was just throwing it out there. Those are some of the more comparable ones to the Z, in sense of power, not price.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. That's saying a lot because the Z has terrible visibility.

I would say that the closest competitor to the 370Z would have to be the Hyundai Genesis. That being said, thought it has more power the Genesis is a heavier car by 350-400lbs.

370Z power to weight is around 9.8
Hyundai Genesis power to weight is around 10.3

Though close in price and power I say the Z still wins it for the "most bang for the buck".

I'm talking about daily driving in talk of gas mileage as well. Sure it is roomier and way faster but gets 8mpg if you're lucky when you're driving city and 13 on the highway. My Z im getting 17-18mpg city and 23-24 mpg highway. So gas efficiency of the Z won my battle in choosing the car. I agree that the new Carmaro's are crap and look like it too.
