Recommendations for car shipping services?
 

Hi gang. I was planning on having my Z shipped to Texas when I relocate but my shipper backed out because they tend to handle coast to coast vs North/South.

I wanted to see if anyone had positive experiences with a shipping company that they could recommend to transport their pride and joy.

I used Pilot Transport (enclosed) when transporting my then-new '8 Z06 from NH to OH. Pilot Transport transport Honda prototype and production vehicles.

Fingers crossed that I won't need to throw painters tape on the Z and drive it down. ha ha

whoever u choose make sure they operate their own trucks and drivers...there are alot of "brokers" who farm it out to the cheapest trucker and things can get ugly.:eek:

Pilot Transport is not brokerage. They are the actual shipping and transportation company.

It's been over a year since I last used them, but A1AutoTransport treated me very well. No surprises, hidden costs, damages or any of that nonsense you tend to hear about in the industry. They operate all over the U.S. so I'm sure they're more than willing to do north/south routes as they are coast to coast. Good folks that were straightforward & I'd definitely use them again.

No worries about the thread necro. Since this was brought back up I wanted to give a shout out to ADKOS for great customer service.

Honest, No-BS business there and will be using them again if I ever need to get my ride transported.
