I'd imagine the risk of getting caught is very low though. Proper technique with jammers is to slow down to the speed limit when you get the alert and turn it off so the officer can get a read on you instead of wondering why his gun isn't working (I have literally driven by cops shaking and hitting their guns thinking it is malfunctioning). The Antilaser has a configurable auto-shutoff. I have mine set for 4 seconds.. so when it goes off, I have 4 seconds to slow down before it stops jamming automatically. As far as visual inspection goes, my AL also behaves as a parking sensor and I can demonstrate it easily in case someone questions what the little black boxes are for.
