Look into the Spigen vent IPhone holder. It's magnetic, you have to add a small thin metal plate to the iPhone case. Works great, it's not expensive and it allows for the air to flow still.
I'll take a pic and post it later. |
I knew I should have bought a G37...
"The G37 Sport has a good number of cupholders, but the 370Z Touring is just OK" Infiniti G vs Nissan 370Z Oh no, a sub-standard number of cup holders! Anything but that! |

Here it is...works really well.
|
As for the cup holder, having the phone on the vent frees up the one cup holder

1st rule in my Z. No food or drinks for the passenger.
As the driver I am allotted one bottled water and it goes in the door cup holder. Phone(s) go in the center cup holder. |

How often do you drive solo vs with passenger?
If mostly solo then Search Amazon for "car organizer" and place in passenger seat with seatbelt, quickly tosses in back when needed. Or a back of the seat organizer with cup holder pockets if carry passenger frequently http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...ps2hiziozu.jpg and I'll re-recommend a cheap $10 stretchy cargo net that keeps all your crap from flying forward into the cockpit when some azzhat pulls out in front of you and neglects to press the go pedal ( a near daily occurrence in the land of the living dead in Florida (sorry old folks!)) attached to the cargo cover points on the hatch so it lifts magically out of the way |

That's how all my friends and I learned to drive--though there were no tallboys (or cupholders) at the time. However, some substituted 70c quart bottles of Country Club malt liquor. No one had to worry about spilling beer in anyone's car--we couldn't afford the financial loss. The good old days--but thank goodness they are past! |
