Type of feeling you get.. When you see your z put smiles on people face.

Recently i was at the dealership for my 1st oil change. Within few minutes they took my car while i was awaiting inside the customer lounge. I hear loud revs from the service area.. I have loud setup Aam short tails with art pipes. As I walk in by the service area. I group of people from service area giving me thumbs up and said pretty loud setup you got there bud. I had big smile on my face and i felt bad too. Seeing my z cheating on me.

Ohh yeah then lottt of pictures were taken of my plates as it says Attachment 108867

If you were any more accomplished you'd be changing your own oil.:owned:

why were they revving your car to the point you could hear it? is it an open shop/lounge?

sorry i'd be little vex with the dealer over-revving.

I was wondering the same, I would be more pi$$ed than proud if tech were revving my car up during an oil change.

If I were the tech I'd say something like, "I was just revving it to get the oil throughout the system and make sure it was completely full."

It does seem like it was probably over the 4,500 that you can rev it without having it in a gear, and that would annoy me the most.

slap them upside the head and tell them the manual says let it sit a few min then check the oil you dip-shticks. (not directed at you but at this fantasy argument i'm having with this tech rep)

it just seems the op is going to a shop where they mainly service altima's or something and don't see many sports cars... i'm very wary of dealer shops and inexperienced techies trying to be cool

What oil do you use, castor or canola? I've been thinking of switching to full olive after my break-in period.
