Fly1 Motorsports has no affiliation to Aerojacket and is still a Forum Sponsor and Lohit is great with customer service! I will be ordering many more parts from him myself.

you mentioned 3%. does that mean he has to pay an extra of 3% of the total payment i made to them on paypal if i were to claim back?

He would have to refund you the money that was given to him. So no at that point that 3% doesn't get refunded I believe ( don't quote me lol ). That is because that is paypal's cut for letting people do business through paypal. I would ask paypal themselves when/if you file a claim.

Say your order was $3000 shipped. 3% would be $90, so Rich at Aerojacket would have gotten $2910 out of it. The $2910 would also be the money refunded to you in the scenario of a claim and when you get the money refunded.
If you also file a claim and you get your money back and he has shipped the parts and get them you do have to ship the parts back to California to keep your money. Otherwise you have to pay them again.

This is exactly what happened to me, and it took them another 2-3 months to send another one. If you are still within the PayPal window, file a claim to escalate the issue asap. It will put them on notice, and PayPal will only give them a limited time to respond before deducting funds from their account. Email AJ pictures of the damage and keep record of all conversations. Spam their Facebook, email and PayPal with messages.

I went ahead and file a claim. In order to get my refund back I have to ship out the bumper. Sooo looks like I have to spend more money on a bumper for shipping purposes.
I'd figure the cost of shipping the bumper would be a couple hundred dollars and Paypal states that a confirmation with signature at delivery is needed for full refund.
Greyhound would be the cheapest but does not deliver at the door. I was thinking of just getting it repaired, Do yall know if bodyshops can repair a crack bumper??

If you paid for something and not getting a tracking number or any responses to your messages after a couple weeks . FILE A DAMN PAYPAL claim already! They can still process your shipment but at least that should get their attention, and you are guaranteed to a refund via PayPal if it doesn't shipped. It's common sense guys!

Depends on the damage, but yes most reputable body shops can repair fiber glass. You should have checked and rejected the shipment when it got to you, and turn the truck right back around to them. That way you wouldn't have to come out of pocket to return the damaged one. I guess lesson learned. I guess the alternative option is to wait for them to send a new bumper/truck and put the damaged one on that truck.....but we all know how that's going to go. They will likely wait it out, to just before your claim expires.

Me too

Never saw this, wish I had...

I Ordered a duckbill on January 6th, the wait begins lol.
I sent an email to AJ on 01/25/2016 and received a response a few hours later. The response was undoubtedly erroneous, but a response none the less.

Their response read as follows.

"going out this week, and once ups pick up the tracking will be send to your email
thank you"

No further communication from them since. I also emailed them on 2/3 and 2/11 and this morning... No responses since.

filed an escalated claim by paypal today.

two months of waiting and no tracking number given is just unacceptable. i dont want to deal with AJ anymore.

Man, I wish I could just take over for them or something. My buddy ordered a duckbill from them and it was good. But this was like a year ago when they actually cared about their customers .____.

I feel sick to my stomach reading all this. I have not had any bad experience with Aerojacket and really wish him the best so he can get out of this deep hole he is in. Sorry to all of you who had a disastrous experience and hope he remedies this for you.
