Got it during a group buy event with different color choices for the turtle

Be wary, they might be fake

(The BP ones are legit for sure)

Zero dark 09-28-2015 07:05 AM

I got it on Japan auction parts, I'm pretty sure they are legit but somebody can chime in if I'm wrong

njobe89 09-28-2015 08:55 AM

definitely fake

jk, i have no idea

cooltoy 09-28-2015 09:18 AM

How much?

Zero dark 09-28-2015 10:08 AM

i looked into it, you can find their page on facebook by searching japan auto parts, they do jdm pieces.

it was $275 shipped

cooltoy 09-28-2015 10:33 AM

Price is authentic. Is it by Rowen?

cooltoy 09-28-2015 10:41 AM

Post pics when you get them. I've never seen custom color TK Knob before.

For me:
Brass steel
Weight
Size
Rarity
Tommy Kaira name
Design

cooltoy 09-28-2015 12:21 PM

I also think the design issue perfect for shifting. The ridges are just right for pulling back with your fingertips when going into second and fourth gear. Too much money though.

FairladyZ10PG 09-28-2015 12:51 PM

True it is expensive. But my thought is I could probably get most of it back when I sell it and just enjoy the hell out of it while it's in my possession lol

I know Japan Auction Parts has been legit and have gotten a few things from them. But, my TK knob doesn't have those holes at the bottom so I'm confused as well.

Zero dark 09-28-2015 10:55 PM

They told me that picture was for a Suzuki swift which doesn't have threads. Which is why those holes are there for bolts

TriNismo 09-29-2015 12:38 PM

Just ordered a TK Knob!

Looks legit imo. The group buy they offered corresponds with the group buy offered by 370Ztune on here, so looks like Tommy Kaira is producing these knobs for various vendors for a limited time. Pretty cool they're offering multiple colors. I would still pick red though..

Eh, that doesn't sound very exclusive to me :rofl2:

Zero dark,
Thanks.

Spstone 10-01-2015 12:23 AM

I'm waiting to see if I make it home from this 6 month work trip before the knob makes it.

mag_black 10-01-2015 12:02 PM

I was told the holes will not be on the knobs in this GB. The ones you see in the picture was a non-threaded version.
