370z on Forza 3...

Is AWESOME.

I just bought the game last night and couldn't wait to see how the 370z compared to a few other cars. It's a track queen!

Too bad the oil temp issue isn't present, and the volt meter is off, and the dash-cluster doesn't look quite right, but it's pretty damn close overall.

I was also disappointed that the car is clearly a 370z Touring w/ Sport Package...or at least it's a Touring w/ Sport Package wheels...but no rear spoiler and no chin spoiler...and the seats are cloth and not leather =P

Handling-wise, it's got me curious enough to consider taking my Z to a track someday - lol - if only the tracks in the real world had braking lines...

HAHAHA Braking lines lol a cheaters best tool! Yeah in the real world we have brake markers or cones or preferably an object that wont be moved... I just know what entry speed the car can handle and as long as I am at that speed and not too high all is good :D Glad you like the Game

Yeah, the hard thing about limits is that you don't know what they are until you step over one...what works for XYZ person might very well not work for ABC person...those kinds of things.

I'm a seasoned pro on video games. Translating that to the real world, where pain and money is involved, is a scary pill to swallow. I really just need to find a wide open parking lot that's clean and the pavement is in good condition, and set up some "cones" and see how much fun it really can be...

I'm sure it's infintely better, like having sex vs watching porn.

That said, I blew my money on mods and changing mods and messing around, so I'm starting over. Only was in year 3...(which is like 20 races)...this time I'll try it without any assists except ABS.

I'll try a manual w/ clutch option soon, though, it'll depend on how the controls are set up. I'd like to get the wheel setup...but...meh...

Got the game

Can only say it is awesome... definitely better than forza 2 in most areas. Physics, Graphics and controls have been enhanced... The clutch manual option becomes second nature after a few hours and you can shift/downshift insanely fast when you couple that with transmissions upgrades, very fun to run agresive transmission gearing with lower powered cars...

the modeling on the 370z is incredible...

Yeah, I was admiring the level of detail they put into it. You can tell they spend some serious time (and money) to get things right.

I just wonder if the comparison/accuracy holds true?

I mean mods-wise, I'm sure it's not "as simple" as they show. I mean, you can install cams - I lol'd at that!

I noticed the upgrades/mod section is more flexible than in forza 2... maybe too flexible (unrealistic), but it lets people play around more easily and build an super powerful crappy car.

I dislike the auto upgrade option, seems random (price, performance index instead of balancing out the car) I prefer to Build up the car on suspension, weight reduction and tires to sport/race level and then build up power until i reach the maximum P.I. of the desired class.

My 370 is currently in the body shop (2+ months now) and driving the car in the game is a huge stress reliever.

I was hoping there would be more options in the terms of body kits (currently only stock and NISMO). There's nothing like looking at a 3D model of a kit you would want down the road.

Love the 370 in Forza :) It have B and A class iterations.

Since mine is already "level 5"...last night I swapped to an Audi, just so I can get more discounts on parts. I've yet to figure out which brands cross-over. Don't care to learn either, I'll just race ;)

I hit driver level 21 last night, and have yet to lose a race (granted, rewind helps)

I got the game last night, but I'm still in the "E" class stuff.

FuszNissan 11-03-2009 10:22 AM

It's better as a b class, not fast enough for A class
