I'm surprised so many are buying into this. I think all of these quotes are being taken out of context and information is getting mixed up. The IDx was never meant to replace the 370 and the new crossover rumor is probably just the Juke's overdue replacement.(220 hp, AWD......Juke Nismo RS?, that would be redundant)
The 370 isn't going to, nor should it, grow in size just for the sake of tradition. We have reached a point where turbos and technology are taking place of large displacement. If Ford can make a 'Murican muscle car with a turbo 4, I don't see why a Japanese company with plenty of turbo experience can't make a high performance turbo 4 sports car (or smaller turbo 6 like before). The sports cars aren't going away. Both Toyota and Honda have admitted they are working on new sports cars. This is the time for Nissan to set the bar for the next generation. Just my $.02 ![]() |
