Roof Rack/ Sport box
Hi everyone I wanted to ask if any body knows a good roof rack set up for the Z? I saw a bad *** look on an Audi and was wondering if the same could be done. With just a standard set up? The rails would go from the roof to the spoiler basically.

Why do I need another car? I'm looking to add some space to the only vehicle I currently own.
P.s. Kenchan getting "another car" does suggest "a new car". Even if the car is used/old model, I would be considered the new owner thus meaning a new vehicle for me. The new question is, why? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Since we are clarifying points for each other...
Firebase was implying that it looks dumb (you know mainly due to the giant wing sitting 3 feet off the trunk with the sole purpose of holding a storage case) and that if you need that much space you might own the wrong car. Also that some fads should die before they start. Maybe I am projecting though. Anywho, If you do pursue this I'd expect it to be a completely custom job. |

No I said another. Maybe an f150? Z has two seats and like 4.3 cubic feet of storage dude. Lol

*deep sigh* So the question still stands, anyone seen or know a good set up? Yes, I figured it might have to be custom as well.
In the mean time this is all I found but it doesn't quiet satisfy... In before critiques. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Do your thing, brother. That said...
it's funny that you want to try and take a car that does so many things, so well (at a great value, I might add), and attempt to twist it in to something that it simply isn't. I suppose it's a debate of form over function versus function over form. Sports cars are barely functional for every day life, as it should be, in my most humble opinion. We own an Xterra. My wife drives it every day and she loves it. I have hauled multiple mountain bikes, a refrigerator, a washer, a dryer, a freezer, tons of lumber, etc. (not at the same time, mind you), and it is a great vehicle. The Xterra is my mule and my 370Z is my cheetah. All that said, do your thing brother. Let your freak flag fly. Personally, I wouldn't haul my MTB on my Z. It just throws sh*t out of whack as far as the universe is concerned. To summarize: Why? Because Sports Car. |

Roof Rack/ Sport box
Well you're certainly entitled to that opinion, certainly a very predictable thought process. Seeing how more than 80% of enthusiast, if not more, will completely agree with you. I've noticed that people do mod their Zs some what uniquely but not much.
The only difference is the visuals. Even then most look alike except for the paint or interior, right? Ok, so go ahead and be one more fish in the barrel... Big whoop, my Frankenstein and I will enjoy all the looks from both admirers and haters alike as the freak show rolls on ahead of you, I'll be able to take my Z to places you won't. We'll see who laughs then booboo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

IBTL.....
That being said, I'm gonna get a Juke to haul stuff in. Now if it has the capability to tow the Z...

I dont see what the big deal is lol, if an r8 can sport a roof rack why cant our little 370's? My does and goes everywhere i need it too..I rarely even use my f150,the civic...only long trips... If im mounting a rack on my car to go mountain biking, im already on "me" time, and nothing would feel better after tearing up some trails, than to crawl back into my sports car and tear up those roads back home. he didnt say off road 4x4

Thank you! Now imagine a hybrid between street and rally... You could tear up the same trails, drift easier on dirt, not worry about po-po, or traffic... And still go fast on the street! Talk about seeing a bigger picture you sir are going places hahaha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
