At UpRev getting the 370 Tuned

all those mods/w tune only netted 18whp? or you were sitting at 277whp with the I/E/HFC's and pulled an additional 18whp with the tune?

Yes Started at 277.72 with the I/E/hfc's picked it up to 295.13

Very impressive, although I must say, that dyno must read hella low, I made 283 from 267 with just HFC's..

Might be better to look at it as a percentage gain rather than hard numbers....

6.1% gain is not bad from *just* a tune...

It's not bad at all, not bad at all.

I found wstar's dyno thread, btw. 7AT w/ I-H-C-E Dyno'd

This is what I was trying to remember regarding the problem he encountered doing a dyno with the 7AT:

"Attempted 5th gear run on same DynoJet, doesn't fly because with the 7AT's rear-end ratio, you can't top out the revs in 5th due to the stock ECU's speed limiter tripping at 160 mph."
