Man, sorry to hear this, but good you came out without major injury! Just looking at that from the few pics that we have seen here I don't think that they will total it, looks pretty far from that point especially without and airbags being deployed. I do wish you the best regarding that, let us know what they do!

Wow! Glad to hear your Okay

I would definitely get checked out.

Injuries sometimes may not be apparent at first, But I would error on the side of caution.

If they dont write it off, I strongly suggest that before you sign off and take posession?

Have someone drive it and follow behind them if not you to make sure it's driving straight like it did before the accident.

Make sure you are totally happy before you sign off and accept the car in your possession.

Again glad your Okay and sorry about the Z

They wouldn't total that. Except for the A post (maybe bent - most likely yes), it is cosmetic/skin damage. Did you look underneath? Any leaks, straight or bent?

Good luck.

Didn't check underneath but there was coolant leaking once it was over.

Sorry to hear man and glad that you walked away okay. Considering where the damage is it could've been worse. A car can be repaired or replaced. As mentioned before, if you're feeling soreness or pain anywhere, get it checked out to make sure you didn't sustain any injuries before signing off on any papers.

Yeah I was just thinking if it was 4-5 feet over more towards the door he could've severely injured me. I will get checked out soon though. Thanks

If they don't this will be on the Z's carfax and it will diminish it's value pretty badly... You can ask/fight for the difference in diminished value by getting a trade in quote from a dealership and using that as evidence that the value took a big hit.

Yeah I got spun out but not into a curb. I saw the rear wheel poking out as well and was wondering why this was the case. I kinda wish that it is totaled because the car will diminish in value greatly.. :(

Sorry to hear about that, glad you were not hurt. Not paying attention usually means texting while driving these day's.

JARblue 08-04-2015 08:52 AM

Glad there were no serious injuries. But I would go to the doctor and get checked out :twocents:

And if they won't total the car, claim diminished value, fix it quick, and then sell or trade it before the accident shows up on the carfax.

DAMN BRO! sorry to know what happen to your Z :( the best part is that you are ok and the Z... well is something that you can replace... Anyway i hope you can fix the car and looks like new again

kenchan 08-04-2015 10:22 AM

sorry to see and hear. :(

the damage doesnt look too bad. will need to see if the frame is bent, a-pillar looks unaffected which is good.

firulice 08-04-2015 10:52 AM

Man that's painful to see. Sorry

Jimbo370 08-04-2015 11:07 AM

Glad your okay. I got t-boned in a ranger and gave it the gas so the durango didn't hit my driver door. It spun me around and totalled truck. Girl was on phone before it was illegal. I hurt for a week. Ibuprophen may be your best friend for inflammation and cool showers. Praying for you

Sorry to hear about the car accident and I'm glad that everyone walked away okay. Sad to say with pain from a car accident, very little of it starts on the first day unless you are really injured. At that point you go to the ER. My dad is a Chiropractor and one of the things he does do as extra work is Personal Injury Cases for attorney's he networks with etc. (mainly car accidents). 9 times out of 10 you feel some pain/soreness the first day due to adrenaline and shock. Once you sleep off the adrenaline and shock you feel every bit of it. Just make sure to not get discouraged if the pain gets worse before it gets better. Most of the time that is how the treatment process goes.

As for doing things at home to help the soreness, some light stretching of the inflamed area probably would be beneficial. Make sure to not stretch on cold muscles, never works well. I would suggest using a heating pack/pad for about 15 minutes before stretching

As for the car, well hope that everything works out well and it either gets repaired or written off as a totaled car. Atleast your lip and B pillars were untouched

My $.02 is that if the car is totaled take what you got off the car and put it on a new one haha (hopefully you have some sort of GAP insurance, chances are the Actual Cash Value of the car will not be the entire loan amount left, just depends on how much you have left to pay off)

Get yourself to a good chiropractor and so sorry about the car. I'd be heartbroken.

onzedge 08-04-2015 06:48 PM

I do not mean to bum you out, but this is a shot of my 40th after I was hit by a person also "not paying attention".

http://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos...f5&oe=563F19DA

It was totaled. The original estimate was $29,000.00.
