I found a '99 Accord sedan for under $3k, and I've been very happy with it for the past couple of years. It is saving my butt right now since my Z is down waiting on parts. Before dumping money in the order of magnitude of tens of thousands, research and plan very well in regards to what you want and avoid impulse decisions.
