ACT HDSS Clutch Kit and South Bend flywheel

Hey Guys,

I did a search on these specific items (ACT HDSS Clutch Kit and South Bend flywheel) and came up with 100+ results but my question is sort of different.

1) The flywheel idle noise: Is it really noticeable or is it loud?
2) What should I expect from this upgrade? First impressions and noticeable performance change?
3) The people that have this upgrade, are you happy with it? What do you like and what is what you don't like over stock?

Sorry for the 1,2,3 questionnaire and thanks!

If it's a one piece flywheel, expect a rattle and transmission noise. It's loud. If it's hot out, the car almost sounds like a diesel.

Loud but normal and operating safely ? What causes such an audible flywheel?

Loud but normal. The oem one is a dual mass, which dampens a lot of the noise. Going to a one piece allows all of noises to be clearly heard.
