I get clips, copper crush washers, and aluminum trans and diff washers at the dealer. One time at the dealer I got a free brake fluid flush. Except I didn't authorize it, they flushed my 2-week old high quality brake fluid out for their crappy stock fluid, and then they had the gall to try and charge me for it

One time I got one of those free oil change coupons in the mail, got the oil changed, they came and told me I needed my brake system flushed for $113.71 an in cabin air filter for 78.54, and an alignment for 99.99. For a grand total of $328.05. I asked them if I looked like an idiot? Just the oil change and the free sub par coffee for me.

I wouldn't go to the dealer if I didn't have free maint. I do love taking my wife's Lexus in though! Free cookies, pastries, TV, soda, coffee, arcade, wifi, small putting green, and the waiting room is comfortable.

Pricing?
Any dealership that will not budge on the MSR price....walk away and find another one. Should be 10% off MSR, and none of that "paint protection" or etched vin numbers either.

I haven't gone back to the dealership since the day I bought the car. Don't plan on going back either because 1) didn't get it from a Nissan Dealership so don't know or if I should trust what the dealership will put into my car. 2) Don't want to have to deal with the idiotic service people trying to pivot sales of other parts lol. There is a reason why they are in service and not sales.
Plus sad to say the product they use for oem parts is just not the best. Before I had changed a bunch once I first had the car in late march, the car would run about 245F just normally. After about a week I changed the oil cause I had enough wondering whether or not it was just gonna shoot up. Put in Mobil1 Platinum Plus and then after that put in Mobil1 Prestige. Mobil1 being recycled oil as is, still has helped reduce oil temps by 5F-10F. Since that I have put in my Mishimoto Thermostatic 19 row Oil Cooler (of which turns on at 190F) and put in Royal Purple synthetic oil and haven't broken 225F while pushing hard. Of course the better way for the car will come out of pocket and not the stealership's. Just how it works with life. Want the nicer and better items gotta put the money down for it... unless you get sponsored.. lol
