Turn VDC off before leaving the driveway. It only gets in the way for daily driving. Only turn it on when racing.

I'm not sure what you'll expect from other drivers on the road.. them driving? Plenty of looks I guess. You'll get plenty of harassment from boy racers thats for sure. The car is a blast to drive and handles like a dream, but if this is your first car... good luck.

As earlier said the car is a blast to drive and there are a lot of parts available to customize it to your liking, you will get people trying to race you sometimes, It's your choice to say yes or no. LEAVE VDC ON, the 370 can be very unforgiving if you make a mistake.

Among all things drive safe and smart. Don't make your parents regret getting the car. Try to not speed ALOT. I came from driving a Civic to a 370z Nismo. It is a world's difference. It is fun and fast. But leave your VDC on, it's your first car. Don't turn it off until at least one year later. It's a lot of power to handle as a first car. You will get stared down and people will judge. I've had people ask me if my parents bought me my car. (Saying I'm a spoiled brat). But man you won't regret it. It is a total different feel than our sister car (G37). Good luck and enjoy if you get it!

I think the right question would be is...what do I expect from you as a young teenager owning a 370Z?

please dont tell me u just got your license and just learned how to drive... hope u take a easy on it if u do get it.. its rwd and has too much power for a young normal teenager to handle especially if its their first car.. not bashing or anything but just dont let your ego get the best of u..

and what u mean by "What will expect from other drivers while I'm on the road?" .. expect what u see other drivers doing now when u are on the road ?

You can probably expect this:

Seriously, this is not a first car. Take the money you'd spend on this car, buy a piece of **** beater, and save the rest. When you're experienced enough to handle a high powered RWD car, go out and buy one then.

You can say you're going to be safe and take it easy all you want, but **** will happen when you're driving (whether you cause it, or another driver causes it). Lack of experience + high powered RWD sports car + think and react fast moment = bad news (ya know, like your 370z stuck in a tree).

With that said, if you're in your late teens and have a decent amount of driving experience under your belt, and you're a mature and responsible driver...you can probably expect what others have said: some looks and a good driving experience. I still wouldn't buy a Z though if I were you.

The dark brings out the crazies. Be careful during late night drives. Many will want to "play" with you. Use good judgement and stay away from them.

if you drive normally, don't expect much. If you drive like a reckless prick, expect some (bad) attention
