Wrong Z4 or not, it's still BMW and that's all that matters! HAHAHA! I should have just sh$t in a BMW logo and that would have said everything!

But in all honesty, I like the new 3 series a little. They are all refined for sure, but upkeep on them you can forget about it! If you like to work on your own car then get a 370Z, if you don't and you wnat all the work done by the dealership then get a BMW and a BIGGER wallet! HAHA!

actually, as long as you aren't modding, BMWs come with all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance included for the 4 year warranty period, so there is no additional cost.

You know that scheduled maintenance is free with a new BMW, right?

Nothing is free, you pay for it one way or another. Plus it only last for 4 years or 50,000 miles. The oil change is one thing, but doing anything else to that car will void the warranty. I am in Germany and I know a lot of people with BMWs and they are money guslers when it comes to up keep and maintenance.

Like I said before, if you like to work on your own car get a Z, if you want someone else to do the work for you, get a BMW.

I don't know man, I owned BMW's up until my G35 and now my Z, and I did all the work on them. A car's a car for the most part when it comes to that. Just because most BMW drivers are 328i-driving sorority girls doesn't mean they're hard cars to work on

Crap, speaking of which, when I had my 2000 MZ3, I don't remember ever seeing another M, and every "normal" Z3 was some old lady in an automatic

Have a buddy who has a 335, before that a 328

Not sure why people would spread false information about the free maintenance. Only thing you take care of is the tires, period.

These Z versus BMW threads should really be Infiniti VS BMW threads as they are more closely matched.

I really fail to see how you can drive both, rather it be a 1,3,Z and a Z34 and not understand the differences.

Really a simple test drive should illuminate the luxuries and refinement of the BMW versus the focused and raw nature of the Z.

I would think a glance at the sticker price would illuminate it as well.

That's true. I'm at 30k and haven't paid a dime for my 335i. They even take care of interior cosmetic issues for you. I scraped the crap out of my interior trim by the door and it was replaced as "defective, should not have scraped."

And the modding bs here is crap also. If you modify your 370, you can bet Nissan will not warranty the car either.
