My 2 options were the g or the z. After spending the last week with my Z, I have zero regrets. To each their own, I guess. I have some g-owning friends that all beg to ride in my Z!

With a BMW you're paying a lot for the name. Don't get me wrong, it's a great car, but there are so many Z4's driving around . . . I rarely if ever see another 370 on the road.
Both are great cars, much better bang for the buck with the 370, and I personally like the looks of the 370 more. |

The new Z4 went on sale in May and I have yet to see one on the road. I think it will be a very low volume car.

Having driven both cars and going through the same thought process, I picked the 370z. Its a very very good sportscar! |

Two different cars in two different price ranges. The new Z4 is a really nice car, but you could get two Z's if you put any options on it. The one I was shopping in comparison to the Z was $62,xxx. Ridiculous.

Only if the Bimmer has a more compliant suspension. Like Steven says, the Bimmer tends to be a bit more refined than the Zed. Otherwise, I'll go with Nissan/Infinity over BMW, mainly 'cause of the reliability issue.

Wrong Z4 or not, it's still BMW and that's all that matters! HAHAHA! I should have just sh$t in a BMW logo and that would have said everything!
But in all honesty, I like the new 3 series a little. They are all refined for sure, but upkeep on them you can forget about it! If you like to work on your own car then get a 370Z, if you don't and you wnat all the work done by the dealership then get a BMW and a BIGGER wallet! HAHA!

actually, as long as you aren't modding, BMWs come with all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance included for the 4 year warranty period, so there is no additional cost.
