I'll be going first thing in the morning to talk to the police...hopefully the cameras dont loop over. The place i did security had kept the recordings for 13 days. |

Typical stores like I said from my experience as LP will NOT let a civilian come in and view recordings. Police we would work with without hesitation. LP and police are basically like partners. When a shoplifter is caught you call the police, they come in view the act on tape and apprehend the suspect. Why argue with a hit and run in the lot?

^^^ indeed. Although to make it easier on people and depending what the situation was i would tell the person to wait in the main office and i would review the recordings myself to provide the info they required. Thats if it was something small...anything that is a major issue and police were involved they would burn a copy of it. I'm hoping walmart does have camera's...i didnt get to check around outside if i could see any.

Just asking cause the popo here in Quebec are really slow with paperwork and the recording would be lost by the time they request for it. It's month 3 on my hit and run case, popo called last week he didn't even start.... Lol
he has the licence plate off a witness and it was in a parking lot. Drive around with busted bumper and dented exhaust FTL ! |

Damage doesn't look too bad. Just a paint job and it'll be fine. And it IS possibe she didn't know she hit you. A minor scratch like that doesn't shake the car or make too much sound, can be very hard to feel. I know because I've done it.
If the car was her friends and insurance wont cover it, you have your own uninsured motorist coverage. You pay for it annually. Might as well use it. Hit and run will be very difficult to prove. YOu have no witnesses (unless the walmart camera picked up something), and its your word against hers, and techincally you both "ran" from the scene. Most likely it will come down to 50/50 fault |

I'm hoping to god walmart has cameras...cuz like you said, hard to prove. I had my gf in the car but she can easily lie for me (not that there is anything to lie about) and she had her boyfriend in the car which was already lieing to me when we first got out of the cars...bah i hate life. |
