For most of the cars I've owned, the oil got changed in the garage/driveway. When I had the Z, it was more effort than I cared to expend to raise the car, unbolt the lower cover, &c, so I took it to a dealer.
Be aware that at a lot of dealerships the guy doing oil changes is the same guy that washes cars - minimum wage and probably not all that motivated to do a good job. When possible, I will seek out the guy who will be changing my oil and chat with him a bit in hopes that he will be doing the job for that-guy-with-the-nice-car instead of just-another-faceless-customer. I've had bad luck with oil change shops and avoid them now. But you may have better luck in your area.

I order my own oil and filter off Amazon then spend $20 to have one of those lube shops do it... Of course I'm watching them the whole time. Usually they like talking to me about cars.
