Ok so we established the 13 MY 370z came with a useless factory oil cooler. I am yet to see any major posts showing evidence that this "update/revision" reduces oil temp compared to prior Model Years.

It's really not useless, if anything it helps bring the car up to operating temperature quicker. Really it just helps keep the oil from getting too hot better than the 09-11 (though this is definitely a track band-aid). It won't really do much when your temps are between 190-220.
