I switched to Amsoil signature 5w30 just a few weeks ago. I have noticed consistently lower oil temps by 10-15 degrees, even on 80* days, and I do not have an oil cooler. I will say that it takes much longer for my car to reach operating oil temp though. Previously I was using Valvoline Synpower only because I get it for free. But I wasn't comfortable with it anymore.
