I had two random guys stop and talk to me last night while my wife was picking up her phone (she left it in a restaurant ) but one guy asked me, "what nationality are you?" I replied American, the guy responded, "Are you a tuner or a ricer?" I was a little confused and just said tuner, the other guy with him said, "See?" then said, "Nice car man," while the first guy said, "No you're a ricer" and walked off.
To clarify to you guys the only modifications I have to my Z are tinted windows, K&N drop ins HPS tubes and a Berk CBE. Apparently driving any import in the Southern states still makes you a ricer to the hardcore rednecks. Oh well, the other guy liked the car and gave a thumbs up as I drove off since the Berk CBE sounds amazing. |

honestly speaking, most people gravitate more towards my modded G than my Z.
when i was working on PDR'ing my dd's due to a hail storm a few weeks back, i had the G parked on the driveway. people stopped by even taking pictures of my ride complimenting me, etc. no comment on my Z.

Was on my way to Cabela's the other day. Was doing about 75 mph. Had an R8 come up behind me. He stayed behind me for awhile. Basically pacing me. Then he comes up beside me and put the window down. I looked over and he game me the

For the first time since owning my Z I've gotten some bad attention, well more like crazy guy going nuts over my car but whatever.
Went to the docs with the Wife for our annual physical, the location is not the best part of town so there's a few odd people around there, any ways I get out of the car and this guy just go nuts, he's about 60 feet away and starts screaming to go f*** my mother, called me a f***ing white basterd / etc. He then starts hitting a metal paper box like crazy and then finally walks away, I was just dumbfounded the entire time while the Wife is telling me not to say anything as the guy is definitely on drugs  . Lol, more funny than anything, but just goes to show some people are just nuts, thank god when I got back for the doc there wasn't any damage to the car, it crossed my mind.

I haven't received any negative attention. Mostly people just looking it over with smiles or nodding approvingly. Quite a few people have complimented it when getting gas or at stop light. But then it could be my intensely engaging appearance too.

being only z in town of 10k people, gets me lots of compliments and attention, specially for the short tails with titanium blue tips, since my car is midnight blue, titanium tips blends perfectly.
