nothing to it, just a replaceable bulb using LEDs. should install EXACTLY like the normal bulb.

Can't help you there, just using my infinite wisdom to make assumptions
I keep my dome light off 99% of the time anyways.. The white LED kick plates are enough light for me to get in and out of the car.

for some odd reason i blanked out and bought these specific LED boards from the z store. they are pretty damn bright and emit a clean light. only downside to them would be the double sided tape that is included sucks though so i'm going to go look for some new stronger one that can keep the boards stuck in the housing.

1) grey tape, red backing. usually comes in a roll (like a spool) and is about 1/2-3/4" wide. this stuff is pretty thin and holds well if everything has been wiped down with alchohol. 2) white foamy tape. i've seen this stuff in square grid sheets and just strips. its probably 1/4" thick but it sticks to anything. I would typically use the grey tape to hold stuff that didn't move or have to much force trying to pull against it. The white stuff I used all the time for amp gain controllers, rf cd changer displays, etc etc. I wouldn't recommend it for anything that got too hot though, looks like it would melt.
