I've tried to make a case based on wrong information on the ticket before. It was only one time and the judge amended it for the officer because he still got my tags right. Not saying it can't be done, just my experience. Though people have claimed it's been done, no one I've ever spoke to has actually won with that. It's always a friend of a friend or someone's cousin.
HOWEVER, all is not lost. If you're written up for CVC22350 (should say on your ticket), it's a very easy win. Assuming you have the time to deal with the courts. If you're pulled over in California on surface streets for speed, this is generally what you're written up for. Help! I Got a Ticket! All the info you need to beat your ticket, go through the tutorial. Happy reading.

Seriously, in China, responsibility follows the owner of the car regardless of who's driving. Someone can steal your car and kill a bunch of people with it and YOU would go to prison. ****** up, right?

The only ticket I have ever fought was my first one - a reckless driving charge. Cop said my ten year old 1964.5 Mustang with a 200 CID straight-6 was spinning both tires for two blocks. I told the judge that if my car could do that (it didn't have the power nor a posi), I'd be glad to pay the fine but my POS car was lucky if it would bark a tire. Judge knocked it down to careless driving (I did have it to the floor while banging through the gears), which was about 1/10 the fine.
In every other case, I was at fault so I paid the fine without going to court. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong; why fight it?

Yeah, if you don't mind a point on your record and throwing away a few hundred dollars then by all means keep paying your hard work, sweat, and time to the government whom do not give a damn about your well-being |

Pay up when and only if they find out, puck the laser holding ticket writers!!! 10 cops hiding on the off ramps while one tags speeders with super speeder laws in Georgia that will be $700 for going over the speed limit by 15mph!!! If you can get one by them off his error then good for you, puck it.

Good luck with that idea. Don't see it working, at least it wouldn't for me. Just pay the fine and keep moving. If your drivers license number is wrong, the insurance company won't figure it out when they run a driving record on you.
