370Z Road Test Results
 

I went online and Road & Track, Car & Driver, and others have road tests for the 2009 Z. What I wanted was the zero to 60, elapsed quarter mile time and speed, and top speed one could expect to get from this car with a 6 speed manual. I found everything from 0 to 60 in 4.6 secs to 5.1 secs, and the same variation for the other categories. Is there a website or does anyone have the data for these categories? Thanks in advance.

Errr...people generate those numbers, not some consistent 0-60 machine.

Unless you're pretty good you probably won't be able to match them anyway. Personally i wouldn't worry too much about it..

People are getting the faster times you posted with the 7at and the slower numbers with the 6mt. Same will apply to the 1/4 times.

FWIW and for accuracy, the 6MT has also been recorded at 4.6s by Car and Driver.

The CandD I read got a 4.9 out of the 6MT.

Haven't seen any others except the NISMO and Vert articles

My bad. Motortrend pulled a 4.7 out of the 6MT. I have too many car magazines on my desk.

I like the way Motortrend drives. They seem to emulate what the guys at the fast strips do.

One of the things that struck me in one of the C&D articles was that their long-term tester isn't getting much mileage. They're all complaining about lack of storage and road noise. Pretty sad.

Car & Driver ain't what it used to be.

I'll take them over Edmunds. I think my granny drives for them! :D
