Clutch - It just sounds like the thrust bearing for sure. My clutch rattles a bit but it's totally normal. Wait to you drive a twin plate clutch then you'll know about noises and rattles. :)
Brakes - Now this is weird. I can feel a pulsation through the brake pedal when stationary like the ABS or VDC is not sure what it's doing. It's only a slight solenoid type pulse but it's there. Weird. Think I'll report it. |
This also is happening in my car, just like you describe. With the clutch fully depressed at idle I feel a light pulsing through my leg from the pedal.
I just got my oil changed today at the dealership. I asked for ester oil, which I have been using since I got the car in January. They accidentally put conventional oil in it, and I had them change it back to ester oil . After they finally finished, I got in the car and had this exact problem. I doubt that this was a result of the oil change, but I sure don't remember feeling it before. It seems to happen each time I start the car, but go away after I rev the engine up. I agree that it probably isn't serious, but it is annoying. |
my g35 2007 sedan sport ..did the same thing..roll down the window and listen for the sound of the clutch when the clutch is not pressed down..sounds like tin cans..lol..its normal.

I have it too, this clutch assembly really sucks, It's loud, pulsates, grabby, and clunks and rattles when you push it in. I've owned 10 other MT cars, most less expensive and never experienced this. I sure hope someone comes out with some aftermarket parts to fix these issues.

Old thread, but just wanted to echo that I have the same issue. Noisy when in neutral, clutch out, and idling. Also clunky when in first and depressing the clutch to coast in neutral (parking in a tight spot, etc).
