Car Got Egged

Was leaving for a family trip. Car was parked in front of the house like usual. As I pull out of the drive way and get ready to leave, I do my usual "last minute look" at the car and notice the drivers side (was facing the street) was egged :( Got hit twice. Once by side mirror and once above the rear tire. I had to catch a flight I was late for so I couldnt even clean it myself. Called a family member in the house and they did it for me. The eggs were still wet so most of it came off. I just got back today and have not had a chance to wash the car yet so I still don't know how much damage was caused.

Posted on Nextdoor and found out a few of my neighbors had gotten egged as well. Pretty sure it was the kids that walk to school through our neighborhood. I really wanna catch one of em in the act.

Thats no good. At least it was still mostly wet so it would all come off easily. Kids....

This happened to my brother's show car (that he had just finished painting himself) on Halloween along with a bunch of neighbor's. Sucks, sorry to hear.

why do people do dumb **** like that to other peoples cars?

Happened to my Z this past Mischief's Night. Busted out my Griot's and shrugged it off.

Find the kids, make them personal slaves.

Karma maybe? You never did these things when you were young? I know I did. I feel bad about it now, but when I was a kid there wasn't much else to do but get into trouble. Lack of supervision and boredom lead to many bad things.

I did not. For fun I'd play frisbee, ride bikes, dirtbike, fish, paintball, or play video games. I never messed with other people's cars.

Nope. Didn't see the point in causing other people financial loss. Never wanted to be the reason someone could pay their bills or afford something.

Sorry about your experience, OP. As you say, it was undoubtedly kids, but you'll be far better off if one of your neighbors catches them and handles it.

get all of it off, quick.

I, as ashamed as I am to admit it, put bologna on a few peoples cars when I was around 10. Sometimes I wish I had a time machine so I could go back and whoop my own a$$ lol.
