has anyone received a letter yet. I bought my Z used so I won't be tracked down very easily.

How do you know it's for the Z?

thought they said 2004-2007 for nissan.

followed by 2008-2015 for nissan in a couple of yrs. :icon17:

Yeah, I got my postcard in the mail the other day for my 2015 Z.
Not a lot of info., so I think I'm gonna call the dealer about it. I just thought I would check here first to see if there was any chatter about it. :tiphat:

just enter your vin, with all these airbags recalls Z was never included, I think the postcard is if you want to be part of some lawsuit/settlement

OK, yeah it looks like some sort of lawsuit stuff. But why would they send me that if it didn't apply. I checked the VIN with the link you provided and nothing. Oh well I guess I'll just file it. Thanks! :tup:

I received a "recall" postcard for a car I have (or had, don't remember). When I read the fine print, it was about a class-action action. I trashed it.

I got the scam lawsuit postcard too and pitched it ... However my wife has a Murano LE. So while having it serviced I asked the Nissan dealership about the airbag problem. The Service Manager told me that all he has seen was the late model Versas having the problem. Murano was fine as was the Z

I got mine and went on-line to see if my car qualified. If you have not received an "official" recall notice from Nissan, you don't qualify. The site said that since the car "may" be recalled, there is nothing else to do...
