Yeah, it will. In the shop today so I'll find out what the damage was :'(
I guess I don't really care if it affects the resale of the car as I plan on having it until it dies or I need to sell it (hoping for the former than the latter). |

It's easy to say after the fact but rarely is anything gained by swerving from what you see coming into what you don't see. That's the instinct, though.
My last experience, fortunately with my beater, was swerving from a nicer car who didn't look before an impatient lane change to someone else's hooptie in my blind spot. In retrospect I should have turned in to that bimmer. Who also sped off without so much as a courtesy middle finger. |

Ugh, I know it has barely been 1-2 days but I feel like they are taking forever to get the estimate! I have a half a mind to just go down there and make sure it is okay.

The one thing I learned about traffic liability.. ALWAYS let them hit you!
If you attempt to avoid the incident and they take off, then it is all on you. If they hit you, then it is on them.

Quick update, they will be replacing bits and pieces of the front-driver's side suspension. I don't have the specifics yet.
New front wheel will be ordered, rear wheel repaired. Front bumper will be touched up to factory spec since it was only minor scrapes. They are awaiting the air-bag people to verify that the facility has all the components and doesn't need to order anything. Hopefully by Friday next week I will have my Z back! |

Sorry to hear about this, and good luck on the repairs. Once you get things repaired you should hop down to the Texas forums and see about joining the occassional hang out we do. Normally it's just been Chuy's on Sunday or something, but still fun.
Are you going to Nismo Fiesta by chance? |

The damage didn't look this bad! I'm glad I have insurance...
After Labor and taxes, it was $8500! Yikes! I had to eat the deductible but I guess I got two new tires out of it...now to replace the other sides *smh* that will be another $500...unless I can find someone on the forum offloading a set near me. |

I would throw a fit that they only replaced two of the tires, driver and passenger on one side. I'd let them know that you need all four replaced so you have a matching set.
The shop should have known this. :/ |
