Damn sorry to hear that. It's been happening somewhat often. If you are on the Maryland Car Meets Facebook group they got a 370z in Germantown about a month and a half ago, a GT-R about 2 weeks later, a Toyota pickup truck in security square mall dealer lot a week after the GT-R, another GT-R in a parking garage, and last I seen a Toyota Corolla. Today some body posted a SS Camaro that was hit also on the back of a tow truck. 5x114.3 seems to be the popular targets and stock wheels for some reason.
The GT-R was done over night in front of the owners home. It was a Baker's performance GT-R.

Yeah, we work hard for our stuff. It just Sucks when someone has such disregard for someone else's property. Just trying to think of all this issues I should be on the lookout for.

Stuff like this is what makes me mad at the scum of society. The lack of total disregard for others property like if a car, house and you name it, comes to us just by falling from the sky.
I often wish we have a day like in the movie The Purge. After all, I think it will be beneficial for the entire society. I know its just rims, but the hassle involved with the insurance company, maybe the rates will go up to the owner and all the other things involved in a situation like this. But the biggest issue that I have is the feeling of being "violated", the feeling of not being secure, the feeling of not being able of having something nice because some scum bag decides to take stuff from hard working people just to make a few dollars for crack or alcohol. I feel sorry for the OP. He was doing the correct or what is best for the community and the environment by parking his vehicle and utilizing mass transportation and that's how he gets rewarded. I hope the insurance company settles this in the most convenient way for the OP. Amen!.

Losers
You'd half figure since the pr***s were relieving you of your wheels, they'd have the decency of not beating the cr** out of the rest of your car while doing it. That would have me more choked than losing the wheels. I can only imagine what shape the wheels are in now after those clowns removed them.
Geez I hate seeing this stuff happen. I have the same Sport wheels and they're finally starting to grow on me. Took awhile. I think they look a lot better on a car with a drop now that I've put the Swifts on and had a bit of time to get used to it. Nice looking Z. Silver is real nice. I don't think I've ever seen one in real life, and I don't think I've ever looked through the Brilliant Silver pic thread. I will now. 104 |

When I was younger, my friends use to do this and sell the wheel and tire as a set. Most people buying were only interested in the tire tread and not so much the wheel. I hope, whoever is doing this is caught and pays for all damages.
We know they're rookies because they left your calipers which are worth (in my book) more than the wheels. |

Park and rides are where your property goes for a ride without you.

I have the exact same car looking at your photos made me feel slightly sick.
I hope there is no additional damage done to your ride. I installed a tilt sensor within the second week of getting my. The bottom line is all you can do is make it difficult for the thieves. Good luck

This just makes me sick. I all of my 68 years I have been vandalized 8-10 times because I always owned a sports car. Just no respect for the hard working person. They need to get an education and then a job!!!!!!!!
Hang in there. |
