It should not be a problem at all unless those rims are coated with gold or something of that nature.
On a serious note, if the rims are in excellent shape (no curb checks) and they are the "sportier" version (SE-R model) they had back in 2002, then it could be a potential as with any other factory rims. Nowadays most vehicles come with 18 inches or higher and that seems to be the preferred target so anything below 16 inches get overlooked unless "a specific customer" request for them.

yah, but do realize some older popular cars have high theft risk for the black parts market. (like normal looking camry's and accords).

I'm sorry to tell you but that will not deter the thieves, it just slows them down a couple of seconds. There videos all over the net showing how to remove a wheel without the key. You're in for a surprise how quickly it can be done.

A wheel lock won't deter a thief. In fact, I knew someone who put all locks (5 different keys) on the wheels. Car was found on blocks one morning.

It literally looks like an upside down bathtub with wheels.

No sir, just look up "bump key". You will be amazed, surprised or scared on how easily a person can open a door with basically "just the wrong key". And the scary thing about is that there is no damage nor signs of forced entry.

That's no fun though. Gotta keep that in mind. Just because I can pick a house lock with a real set of lock picks doesn't mean it's more fun than taking a sledge hammer to one of those cardboard doors.

You don't have to be sorry, ANYTHING can be stolen, but I rather do something then nothing. I took a cable tie and attached to lug key to carry around easily.
