Sorry for loss. I hope who ever did this will get their karma. Just curious, how did they put the car on the flat bed?

The tow company, which was set up by my insurance USAA, put the spare on the front drivers side and some kind of skid on the front passenger side. In the rear they just sat the two rotors in two donuts laid flat and dragged it up. So I'm nervous about how much more damage that caused.
This was at the Accokeek Park & Ride off of Livingston RD. |

I can only imagine the noises it made being dragged onto the flatbed. That's absolutely horrible. So sorry.

![]() Pics pics pics pics. It should not be a problem at all unless those rims are coated with gold or something of that nature. On a serious note, if the rims are in excellent shape (no curb checks) and they are the "sportier" version (SE-R model) they had back in 2002, then it could be a potential as with any other factory rims. Nowadays most vehicles come with 18 inches or higher and that seems to be the preferred target so anything below 16 inches get overlooked unless "a specific customer" request for them.

It literally looks like an upside down bathtub with wheels.

I have USAA, which is supposed to be a good insurance. I have never had a claim before, so I guess I'll be putting there reputation to the test. The USAA certified body shop I took it to said they really cant get a good idea of how much damage was done until they order wheels and tires and install them so they can get the car on a lift. But the tech said that he thinks the rotors and calipers should be replaced; between the POS dropping the car on the front rotors and the tow dragging the vehicle on the rotors Plus they did cosmetic damage to the calipers, not sure how, maybe they were trying to take them too.
