UPDATE!!!! And an AWESOME one too!!! Progressive is going to give me a check for over $2000 for the exhaust! woohoo that should offset some of the Project build! Now I just wait for that check and the deminished value check as well

Well if you must know I am going TT and I am sponsored by GTM so I will be running their 3" turbo back exhaust

Fusion, No they havent found the guy but my battle with the insurance company has netted me more money than i was expecting!!!

UPDATE: and you all thought it was over....

Well guess what! today at 5pm my motor BLEW sky high! mmmmmm fun

there are only two outcomes that I see happening:
Option 1: Covered under warranty and get new motor...
Option 2: Covered under Insurance which will lead to a completely rebuilt motor by forged + a few additions

Hopefully they will total the engine...

Well, lets look at the facts:

-car was rearended
-Car had noises coming from floor board area (exact area of Cats)
-Car day one from accident made noises in the ehxaust and tone of exhaust note sounded like a broken baffle.
-As of the past few days I have noticed the sound getting progressively louder
-Under 3500 rpm it felt like the car had 0 and I mean 0 torque! (it was like the car was a 4 banger)
-Today the car while under power felt like I had a diff failure like it could grab then slip then grab again. I was planning on taking the car in today.
-Leaving any red light in first almost required 1/2 throttle to get it off the line.
-The noise got really bad today so I tried to baby it back to the dealership and the motor blew only 1/2 mile from the dealership.
- I was driving in 4th gear about 4k rpm about to shift when... boom smoke and the gauge cluster lit up like a christmas tree! Engine Failure!
- Toward the dealer ship I could feel the valves starting to float hence why I was short shifting and coasting most of the way.

also the only time I could hear the noise was on accel...

the sound sounded like a spray paint can in the exhaust and not rhythmic to the engine until it was about to blow in which I could hear as every pulse of the engine I could hear the rattle come through the floor board.
