Those with navi

For those of you that have factory navi systems, the buttons (i.e. radio, AC, etc.) are a bit different than our counterparts w/o factory navi. Whenever you guys turn on your AC, even if you click right once, does the AC still turn on with 3 bars? Same thing with the radio, if I want to lower the volume, if I don't turn slowly, it'll actually turn the volume up, rather than down?

Nope, only one bar at a time, I have a 2012 Sport/Touring/Nav

Sounds like your controls are a little dirty maybe?

Definitely no on the radio turning up instead of down. Not sure on the AC as I have not had to use it yet (it was 60F here yesterday, that's AC enough. :D)

Same on my 09. 1 click = 1 bar

mine does that all the time. its something with poor quality of the dials. y volume goes up or down unless I move it ever so gently. so I gave up and just use steering controls only.

my A/C does it sometimes too. probably the only poor quality item on my Z. ok maybe those rear hatch poppers that don't fully open my hatch sometimes too. pain in the ass

Same thing here. It's one of those things I'm sure I could get fixed under warranty, but it doesn't bother me enough to run the risk of the trained dealer monkeys mangling something else in the process of "fixing" it.

same here I could care less. 99 times out of 100 I use the steering volume control anyways.

the a/c controls eh it's not an issue that really bothers me.

only time I allowed the idiots deal with my car was the free steering lock work they did under the recall and at the same time I had them replace my clock spring in the steering column that broke. that was also under warranty at the time.

Same here: 1 click one bar for the volume and air conditioner/heater.

On the other hand, when I push my (Front defroster button?) on the front it goes all the way up to the very max.

they all do that. it's part of it's programming from what I understand.

I will admit I have hit bumps hard before and my air controls would kick on from the dial getting jostled lol

theres a whole thread and poll on year of your 370 and if your poppers work everytime, sometimes, or not at all.

mine are hit or miss. i'd say 50/50 between opens fine or needs to pull it up and hit the button again to release.

My 09 knobs started misbehaving at about 3 years - 30K miles. Had the panel replaced under warranty, and it just started doing it again at 6 years - 63K miles. It's an easy repair, so I had no problem trusting the shop; they just swap out the whole panel. When it got to the point to where bumps would cause the temperature or volume to change, I took it in. Not there yet with the replacement, but its starting to get flaky.

depends on how I open the trunk. if i unlock the vehicle with the key fob and then push the button underneath the trunk lid, it's about a 10/90 that it will/will not open properly. however, i noticed that if i leave my car locked and push the trunk lid button, there's a 2-second delay and it'll will open with no issues.

I never really paid attention to which way I unlock or opened the hatch If it works better. i'll have to test this later.

and yes I've hit big bumps (PA roads :shakes head:) and the a/c had turned itself on. that or there;s a ghost I nmy car that got a bit warm.
