From first hand experience and being from the car theft capitol on the planet back then for 20 years straight of Newark, NJ. The club is useless and I've seen a guy steal a RX-7 where the owner had taken off the steering wheel, but the thief drove the car away with a pair of grip pliers. The only thing that ever worked for me is the Kraco Nightstick and that has to be used a certain was for it to be useful. Don't leave it in an upward position like advertised, you need to put it on and turn the steering wheel until it locks and the nightstick is dam near touching the floor and with the keyhole on the back facing the dash, this way there is no way to stick a snatch bar in it and rip the keyhole out like they do the club. I had my BMW broken into, started up and the steering wheel bent like pretzel trying to get this dam thing off, but the car was never stolen. I came downstairs, they left the dam car running all night, broken window, ignition ripped out and the last man standing was my nightstick that I still have to this very day and this was in 1991 and I've used it on everything up until I left that Wasteland in 2002. If a professional car thief wants your car, he'll get it, but like someone else said, put everything possible on it, Nightstick, alarm, kill switch, E-brake lock, pedal lock and a Boot, put it all on there at the same time and make these lazy, jobless pieces of shiit really have to bust there azz if they want your car.
