Since people's time is such of a huge concern for you, let's say you're driving the speed limit, but the person behind you is late for work, and you're not going any faster to "accommodate" him, and time is of the essence. Since you are theoretically "holding" him up, would you consider yourself selfish?

I drive a work truck that's limited to 70MPH. I am constantly watching my mirrors to make sure that I don't slow others down.

With all the miles I drive, there are inevitably times when I am "that guy", but I try to make those instances as rare as I can.

People make mistakes on the road all the time. There's no way around that, we are all human. The issue here is the "they can wait" mindset.

Okay, so then let I guess most of us make the mistake of having the "they can wait" mindset because we don't want to damage our cars.....

None of us want to damage our cars. But some of us modify our cars to have "special needs" and don't give a $hit when it inconveniences others.
