Driving Uphill

Why do people drive slower when going uphill?

- Is it like, more difficult, or something?
- Is it that they aren’t in good enough shape perhaps?
Yes!! That’s it… the drivers of other vehicles are actually SO obese that their cars are literally not powerful enough to propel their great density to greater altitude.

What's this got to do with Z drivers?

I'm talking about every vehicle that can't seem to compensate for a slight incline.

kenchan 04-08-2015 04:21 PM

yah, i noticed this especially on expressways when i have my cruise set.

i wonder wat it feels like in san fransisco though... probably launch off the ground at every hill top. lol

you had to push your 370z up the hill cause you suckarse at MT?

RonRizz 04-08-2015 05:00 PM

they go slow up because they make up the time on the way back, going down.

DOOMMONKEY777 04-08-2015 05:06 PM

Well this one is easy, ppl are just plain cheap on gas. (due to 1%)

They think going up the hill slower will save gasolina.

I like how he sounds like he's not sure if it could be gravity or not.

Maybe it was a rhetorical question?

If you and JungleZ where drowning and I could help one of you up to my boat, id probably let both of you drown but at this point I think Junglez has the advantage to survive.. (I hope that sums up how much I like you) :tiphat:

Gravity -- it sucks. Literally. It's physics.

"Like this one?" Isn't actually a rhetorical question in the context you used. If you would like we can organize a Z meet in Central Florida and I will freshen up everyone's English. You would like that wouldn't you?

osbornsm 04-09-2015 11:52 AM

Sorry Davey, i think Bad is technically right. :twocents:
But also... neither of you are talking about cars.

No, the rhetorical question was obviously "Maybe it was a rhetorical question?" :ugh2:

My Car Is Sexy As $%@!
Coming back from Publix, I saw a white Z and a slammed red BRZ parked next to each other outside the complex... Owners looked middle eastern/asian...

mishuko 04-09-2015 03:08 PM

when i got home in the MT i stopped outsdie ran inside to open the garage then came back out. let's say i kept rolling backwards and stalling more than i'd like to count.

my parents thought i may have went for a drive again... no it was only 30 minutes of trying to get a hill start on my driveway.

apparently my launch or stall technique wasn't practical to creep into a garage!

If you are going to "correct" other people's English skills, perhaps you should ensure yours is up to par. The "I" in "Isn't" shouldn't be capitalized. There should be a comma after "If you would like". Also, there should be the word "skills", or an equivalent noun, after "English".

Where did this random comment come from? And these three comments have no relation to each other. You state your opinion about your car. Then you talking about two cars parked next to each other at a grocery store. And lastly, you profile the potential owners of the two vehicles.

Also, Publix is NOT in every state. Some people may not know what you are talking about.

You are wrong about everything. Your aimed antics insinuate that you have something against me. Why are you so mad? Do not take your lack of penis length out on me.

I can agree with you on the "I", however, a use of a comma after "If you would like" isn't necessary, as it creates a sentence fragment, creating two unnecessary clauses. Also, about the Publix thing, Google.

Did you get made fun of a lot growing up? Or did your parents not love you enough?

I have nothing against you, nor am I mad, as I have stated earlier that I have subscribed for some eloquent posts.

"Publix Super Markets, Inc., commonly known as Publix, is an employee-owned, American supermarket chain based in Lakeland, Florida. Publix operates throughout the Southeast, with locations in Florida (760), Georgia (182), Alabama (58), South Carolina (52), Tennessee (38), and North Carolina (8)."

Per Google search, hence not in every state.
