Generation Z

Which Generation Z is your favorite and which one is your least favorite?

I'll start.

Favorite: 370z (6th gen) and 300z (4th gen)
Least Favorite: 350z (I used to like it a lot but the cheap interior killed it for me)

kenchan 04-08-2015 02:48 PM

this thread - hi i like to make enemies.. :ugh:

axmea? 04-08-2015 02:54 PM

Why you doing this? I as with many others here appreciate all generation Z's. Now if you really want to know how the Father of the Z feels about the 370Z brace yourself.

jaytirbhaw 04-08-2015 02:54 PM

I love them all.

MagmaRed370z 04-08-2015 03:13 PM

Maybe not everybody likes them all. I don't like all the generation Z's, just like Mustang lovers may appreciate the 1st gen Mustang but may hate the early 8o's models.

350Z is my least favorite, but I still like them. Owned a couple of them, even. :ugh2:

Actually at the time I would say the more fitting analogy was you could have the 350Z or starve to death.

I liked them a lot. Still do. I don't regret trading for the 370, though.

I'd equate liking the 370Z and hating the 350Z to liking the 99-04 Mustangs and hating the 94-98 Mustangs; it's basically the same car, with a few styling tweaks.

I think it is like saying there is a difference between a taffy-apple and a hillbilly. There is none that anyone should care about.

99-04 Mustangs are worthless piles of crap, while on the other hand... Wait no that's not the difference.

Hmm... I'll have to get back to you on this.

/Angelo350Z/ 04-08-2015 07:52 PM

At the time of purchase, I actually preferred my '08 350Z over my '13 370Z. Sure, the 370Z is superior in every way, I was just a bit overwhelmed when I drove off the dealer's lot. I still don't regret getting a 370Z though. Even now, I still prefer driving the 350Z; then again, I've invested more in that car.

"Are you from Arkansas?"

"No, Oklahoma"

"There is a difference?"

I actually do love the classic Mustangs - like 60's and early 70's. Even the Mustang II was not all bad, I thought. The Fox body was just ugly on wheels though, they lost me there.

Loved both of my 350z Track Edition and freaking love my 370z Sport-Touring, that thing is an animal. I think I would have loved the 300z TT, but I could not buy one back then.

The issue with all American cars in general is that you are not paying for the car, but for the billions of $ in pensions and huge salaries, small portion of your $ goes into the car, which is why when you close the door of a Mustang, you feel like the car was built by Fisher Price on a bad day.

Tesla makes insane cars because they are a new American Company, they don't carry the baggage what so ever

Out of all the Z's, I think is the one (z32) that's different from the rest.
