Show N GO license plates, i need info

im sick of getting tickets and or hiding from cops, i dont have a front plate and im not putting one on, it just ruins the look, im sure most will agree, ive looked up "Show N Go" is anyone on this forum familiar with this And MOST IMPORTANTLY does anyone have one installed on there Z?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqRkJXLzWAA, i dont want to install mine like this G, i want mine completely under the front bumper if possible.

but is anyone familiar with the ease of installation or if it will freeze during winter? because this thing looks fairly flimsy, thanks ahead !

I had the manual one installed. They also an automatic one that has a remote. I read reviews about it having issues with the cables and gearing rusting due to salt.

The manual was fine but i had to drill the under the bumper with the self tapping screws. The kit worked great for what i needed but would scrape really easy on inclines. (I am lowered) I went to HomeDepot to get better self tapping screws. I had more faith in the kit not getting ripped off with some heavy duty screws. I just moved to Houston so I removed it because of the police not being able to enforce local laws to out of state cars.

He's referring to the front plate bracket that attaches to the tow hook thing. It just connects to the tow bracket, so it doesn't require any drilling or anything.

The remote controlled ones work OK at least somewhat for awhile ...
But then - they don't...and you don't always know if they are up or down ... know what I mean ???

You've also got to be careful if you are going thru an occasional car wash.

They are also spring loaded and can flop around...if the foam bumper gets crappy then you've got marks on your fascia.

I like the 'Clean Look' but am concerned with the 'Legals' - gave up on the inconsistencies of the remote and will go for the manual one for my next project...going with an aftermarket front fascia.
