Question To wing or not to wing...

What's your choice?

1 - Stock wing

2 - Nismo OEM wing

3 - Nismo s-tune wing

Also does anyone know if the wings all use the same mounting pattern?

Also to those that have the Nismo wings, do you have any specific likes/dislikes about them?

Do the OEM nismo wings move/vibrate at high speeds?

read in another post yesterday that the S-tune wing uses different mounting holes and leaves some exposed if you have the touring wing.

i have no complaints with the nismo spoiler. view in the rear view mirror isn't that bad either, ive gotten used to it. one thing that i do like about the spoiler is that it blocks the head lights of the cars behind you

as far as vibrations or anything at high speeds, i haven't heard/felt anything - my friend said we were going 110.

I don't know if I'm doing it at all, I'm just looking for member feedback at this point.

I'm more curious to if you can see a subtle vibration in your rear view. I had a cobalt ss with the big wing and it would vibrate. It wouldn't make any noise but I could see it ever so mildly bouncing in the rear view. It use to drive me crazy...

What's the point? A "wing" should serve a purpose. Especially if you're going to add one after the fact. I doubt any of the above mentioned wings actually provide any sort of realistic usable downforce. I do ocassional hot lapping and am quite ok with the subtle "sport" wing that is attached to my car but if I were to frequent the track on a regular basis or get serious about lap times etc., then I would be investing in something larger and more funtional for such use.

But hey, if it's just a bit of a look that you're after, then yes, smaller is less "ricey" and just cleaner IMO.

i haven't seen it vibrate and i DD my car. if it ever happens, hope it doesnt, i'll let you know. hopefully some other nismo owners can chime in as they've probably had theirs for a longer.

I couldnt agree more, why add additional weight when it doesnt serve a purpose? If I got a spoiler, it would be one that served an actual purpose and had adjustable settings to tune the downforce.
