Headers and test pipe
Does anyone recommend one header over another. I currently have a fantastic intentions cat back exhaust and I want to add headers but I'm not sure which route for headers to go. Should I get long tube headers or should I get a header with the downpipe set up. Which way will I get the most gain with the correct tuning. Thanks for any and all the advice

Fast intentions* typo^^

majority will tell you to go with the F.I. long tube headers... i personally don't think it's worth spending that much money for a few hp. i'd suggest on getting test pipes if you don't have emissions or have a way around them. but if you have the funds, go for both.

Won't the long tube headers be the same length as a header plus a down tube basically just losing one of the connections?

LTH = shorty header plus TP or HFC in terms of what it replaces
LTH are meant to be the most optimal for performance as it is a single pipe and F.I. spent a lot of time with their design to find the optimal power under the curve, not just peak HP. |
Here are your popular options.
1. PPE or Fast Intentions long tube 2. Momentum / Z1 short tube. |
Thanks guys. I have the FI cat back already so i may just pick up their LTH as well.
